Mini Vintage Postcard with Vintage Envelope & Stamps Gift Box

Is your loved one far away? Those who are far away from home really misses their loved ones a lot. Life is too short to be brushing things aside and say ‘maybe next time’ or ‘maybe later’, cherish your loved ones while they are still yours to love and miss. Write to them and send them old style postcards, love notes and letters, it doesn't matter what you write about. Tell them about the latest movie you saw, your job, what you did today, what sort of weekends activities you’re up to, what you cooked for dinner, the latest joke you heard -- anything at all. Above all, tell them you miss them and love them. Don’t worry about your handwriting, spelling or grammar, they really don’t care, just getting mail and cards are a big deal to them (& you) and they know how hard it is to write those themselves too.

Often when I’m away for work or even vacations, I would long to know what my loved ones are doing at that moment, are they sleeping the mornings away? Are they out running errands, are they thinking about having freshly bake orange muffins with hot steamy cup of coffee? Or are they just hanging out with some friends? Either way, whatever it is, I would love to know and it makes me feel closer to home too and wherever the heart is.

Whenever you thought of something to say, any time of the day, pen it down, even if it is random; It will light up his/her face even if it’s just a simple handwritten note that says, “I Love You” or ‘I Miss You”

These are Vintage Postcards complete with its vintage envelopes & stamps. They come in a box with a string to have the cards clipped up on your walls or deck to remind you & your loved ones how much they have been missed while they are away (even just for a few hours!)

Rising of the Sun - Promise of the Day's Possibilities

Between Sunrise and Sunset, which makes you appreciate life more? I must admit, that I'm not much of a morning person. Yet, there is nothing as beautiful as sacred as the sunrise at the break of dawn. Waking up with the sun hitting the room through the window with the aroma of coffee caressing the nasal, seeping through my lungs, makes a great start of a brand new day. Waking up was never about yesterday or what has past, although it may alter who you are before. Waking up is not about tomorrow, although it may be planned. Waking up is about today, and what you do today, changes yesterday and tomorrow. Today is a brand new day, promise of the day's and future possibilities.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas is the best time of the year. Through I'm not Christian in any way, we Malaysian celebrates everything. And I love Christmas the most like most people because it is time for year end bonus and time to clear balance leave for the year.

It is also time when children ask Santa for gifts and the adults pay for them. Deficits are when adults tell the government what they want and their kids pay for it.

Oh Well, I'm neither a child nor do I want to be an adult just yet.

So Merry Christmas Everyone! Hope you get lots of love, happiness and abundance of joy this festive season.

This is for you Cheng Li

A Sunny Pot of Flowers

You know the feeling you get when you've finally found what you have been hunting for? High and low? To the end of the world might I say?

Well, I have been hunting every store, every site possible to get my hands on Tim Holtz Tattered Florals here in Malaysia. There is none! And those sites carrying the dies either do not shipped it here due to customs complexities and duties or just too expensive to shipped. Alas, I said to myself, no matter how costly it is, I MUST GET MY HANDS ON IT! And I've got it!! WooHoo!

So Here's what I've made in November (a few things actually but the Internet at home just had to throw some tantrum and wouldn't let me upload). Anyway, It is Hoon's birthday and the Tattered Florals came just in time. So I  made her a sunny pot of flowers with the die and my cuttlebug machine.

Tadaa! A Sunny Pot of Flowers!

Here's the flower pots made from Coffee Brown Cardstock and I ran them through the Cuttlebug Machine with the Swirls Folder. Made the crown of the pot with Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch

And the flowers is definitely a Tim Holtz production

And that is where the Birthday message should go; on the stem of the bunches, hidden in the pot.

So Happy Birthday Hoon with a sunny pot of flowers from morning till night. May your birthday be as bright as the flowers and as the years grow, may your happiness grow with it and never wither.

Happy Diwali 2010 Friends!

As the festival of lights. is approaching near, here's three cards I've made for the three Indian colleagues who sits around me every weekday. For most of the hindus/Indians and working class, this is the biggest festival and the day when they want to be with their families and perform the prayers together in their homes.

So wishing, Mara, Wanan and Jason a very Happy Deepavali, 2010. May the festival of lights be the harbinger of joy and prosperity. As the holy occasion of Diwali is here and the atmosphere is filled with the spirit of mirth and love, here's hoping this festival of beauty brings your way, bright sparkles of contentment, that stay with you through the days ahead.

Best wishes on Diwali and New year
